Local Director for Sioux Falls Area

Employment Status: Full-time (30–40 hours/week)

As the Local Director of the Sioux Falls Area Chapter of Child Evangelism Fellowship® (CEF), you’ll be the lead cheerleader, strategist, and connector for Gospel outreach in Minnehaha and Lincoln Counties. You’ll represent the ministry in the community, inspire local churches to get involved, raise support, and lead your team with vision, energy, and prayer.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Ministry Development & Leadership
Be the face of CEF in your area—developing the local chapter and expanding its reach.
Work alongside the State Board and USA Ministries to bring CEF’s vision to life locally.
Promote Good News Clubs, 5-Day Clubs, CYIA, and more to churches, schools, and community organizations.
Carry out ministry programs with integrity, staying on mission, on budget, and aligned with God’s Word.
Spiritual Leadership & Ministry Growth
Prayer First, Always – Build a culture of prayer and lead by example as a faithful servant leader.
Cast Vision & Chart the Path – Help set direction for ministry expansion, partnering with churches to reach more kids.
Grow the Team – Identify, train, and mentor volunteers, summer missionaries, and student leaders (grades 6–college).
Strengthen Partnerships – Build bridges with churches and community groups to multiply your impact.
Hands-On Leader – Stay involved in ministry activities to stay grounded in the mission and tuned in to what kids need.
Community Engagement & Fundraising (Yes, it's fun too!)
Lead with Collaboration – Work hand-in-hand with CEF leadership and your local team to align fundraising with ministry needs.
Relationship Builder Extraordinaire – Cultivate lasting connections with donors, sponsors, churches, and community leaders.
Get the Word Out – Use newsletters, church visits, and social media to share CEF’s story and inspire others to join the mission.
Create Fundraising Magic – Plan campaigns, host events, and explore new ways to grow financial support.
Marketing Maven – Manage online and offline outreach strategies that boost visibility and excitement around CEF.
Shine in Public Spaces – Represent CEF at community events and networking opportunities with joy and confidence.
Grants & Giving – Research and write grants that help power the mission.
Data-Savvy Decision Maker – Track and assess results to make each campaign even better than the last.
Operations, Compliance & Finances (a.k.a. Keep Things Running Smoothly)
Stay On Course – Ensure everything follows CEF’s policies and is handled with integrity and excellence.
Keep Records Clean & Clear – Use tools like Neon CRM and Constant Contact to track donations, communication, and reports.
Stay in the Loop – Communicate regularly with the State Director and local committee to share wins and address needs.
Join the Team – Attend state meetings and work collaboratively with state-level leadership.
Budget Boss – Build, track, and report on your chapter’s finances—ensuring resources are stewarded wisely.

Experienced Leader – You’ve got 3–5 years in nonprofit or ministry leadership and know how to lead people and projects.

Ministry Coordinator for Sioux Falls Area
Employer: Child Evangelism Fellowship of South Dakota, Inc.
Immediate Supervisor: Sioux Falls Area Local Director
Employment Status: Part-time 10-20hrs/wk
As Ministry Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in helping after-school Good News Clubs® and summer 5-Day Clubs® thrive. From recruiting and training volunteers, to organizing club materials, to cheering on your teams in the field, you’ll be the hands and heart behind the scenes that keep local ministry going strong. You’ll work closely with the Local Director and volunteers to grow the mission, serve with joy, and ensure clubs operate smoothly, safely, and in step with CEF’s purpose.
Your Key Responsibilities
Build Ministry Teams: Help recruit, screen, and train new volunteers—adults and teens—who will serve in Good News Clubs, 5-Day Clubs, and other outreach events.
Get Clubs Up and Running: Partner with churches and hosts, secure locations, prepare facility requests, and confirm all the pieces are in place for each club to launch.
Support and Encourage: Visit every GNC at least twice a year to check in, encourage the team, help with challenges, and make sure everything’s running smoothly.
Equip Leaders: Provide club leaders with lesson materials, music, visuals, and updated resources. Be available to help new teams get started and step in to teach if needed.
Stay Connected: Check in with volunteers regularly to gather updates, stories, and stats.
Keep Things Compliant: Oversee Child Protection Policy procedures, make supervisory visits to school-based clubs, and help keep all ministry sites safe and healthy.
Summer Outreach: Support CYIA summer missionaries, help lead 5-Day Clubs, recruit host homes, and oversee club sites, fairs, and other events.
Promote & Participate: Help with retreats, trainings, fundraisers, newsletters, and CEF events. Take at least one CMI course per year toward your CMI Diploma.
Communicate with Clarity: Keep the Local Director informed with regular updates and great documentation.

Part Time Office Associate - Huron Office

Child Evangelism Fellowship is a Bible-centered, worldwide organization composed of born-again believers whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, disciple them in the Word of God, and establish them in a Bible-believing church for Christian living.
CEF has work going on in nearly every country around the globe and every state in the US.
CEF’s primary ministries are the Good News Club® and 5-Day Club®. These fast-paced, 60-to-90-minute programs are designed to bring the Gospel of Christ to children on their level in their environment and take place in neighborhood settings such as homes, backyards, schools, and community centers worldwide. Child Evangelism Fellowship of South Dakota, Inc. focuses on supporting these primary ministries and seasonal outreaches.
The Office Associate performs general office procedures, including mailings, word processing, record management, organization, filing, and communication support.
The Office Associate will:
· Prepare correspondence and mailings.
· Maintain constituent data in our CRM software.
· Help prepare materials for training classes and other outreach events.
· Keep records and files updated as necessary (electronic and hard copy).
· Provide organizational and administrative assistance for special projects from time to time.
· Work with volunteers to ensure club ministry records are up-to-date.
· Assist with Child Protection Policy screenings and compliance.
· Assist with social media management as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS – The Office Associate must:
· Have a demonstrated love for Jesus Christ and a growing relationship with him, including active involvement in a local church.
· Affirm the CEF Statement of Faith and exercise biblical conduct, both publicly and privately.
· Excellent Microsoft Office (particularly Word and Excel) and G Suite (Docs, Sheets, and Forms) skills. PowerPoint is a plus. Canva experience is helpful.
· Strong written communication skills.
· Superior attention to detail and good organizational habits.
· Able to maintain confidentiality.
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
Additional information:
This is a part-time position, approximately 10 hours/week, as funding permits. Hours are flexible.
Live in or be willing to relocate to the Huron, SD, area.
