The Great Plains Area
The Great Plains Area covers northeastern South Dakota. Most CEF programming in this area is during summer months through 5-Day Club® and VBS. Christian Youth In Action® provides teens training and outreach opportunities to tell the Good News to many children in their communities.
Meet the Director
Sakura Eggena
CEF Great Plains Area Director
Sakura started volunteering with CEF in 2015 as a summer teen missionary. In February 2022, Sakura joined the Great Plains Area Chapter as a full-time staff member.
In 2023, Sakura completed the required training and CMI course-work, and now serves as the Great Plains Area Director.
Sakura especially loves building teams and working with teens through CYIA! When not serving with CEF, you can find Sakura at home, caring for her little brother, her dog Barnabe, and cats Marie and Toulouse.
