Junior Youth Challenge
COMING SOON to South Dakota middle school students to bridge the gap between Good News Club® and the Christian Youth In Action® program to support and encourage young teens with a Biblical worldview in some of their most defining years.

Junior Youth Challenge® is a global ministry all about discovering what the Bible says and how it applies to the life of a teen. At JYC™, students age 11-15 receive the tools necessary to live out their faith anywhere, in any situation, no matter who’s watching.
The investment made in the spiritual lives of children does not end when those children transition into their early teen years. JYC bridges the gap between Good News Club® and the Christian Youth In Action® program and encourages young people to go on to serve in the Child Evangelism Fellowship® ministry.
JYC Coming Soon to South Dakota!
Our State Instructors are completing their training for us to begin to pilot JYC Clubs across the State. Our Good News Clubs meet children in their most formative years and many of our schools have high school groups meeting, but unfortunately, our middle schoolers are falling through the cracks during some of their most developmental years.
In JYC, students will:
- Learn to grow in their faith and apply biblical truths
- Build quality friendships
- Have leaders who pray for them
- Enjoy games, snacks and uplifting music
JYC Leaders
Christian adult volunteers giving their time and energy to invest in these young lives at JYC. CEF provides the training and volunteers are asked to sign the CEF Statement of Faith and agree to abide by the forms and policies of the organization. All adults working with the JYC program are screened according to our Child Protection Policy.

Connect with a School or Local Community Group
There are more than 280 public middle schools in South Dakota. We are calling all Bible-believing churches across the state to adopt their community school. Groups of individuals can also adopt a school. There is much work yet to be done to share the good news with every student in South Dakota!
